About me
Dave is a juggler, adept at keeping both literal and metaphorical balls in the air. At PGAV, he masterfully combines his training and skills as an architect and creative designer with his life-long love of the performing arts. His projects are infused with a passion for storytelling, a keen sense of humor, and a flair for the dramatic.
Dave’s diverse skill set is as impressive as it is extensive. He excels in master planning, architectural design, creative writing, storytelling, art directing, show production, media development, graphic design, exhibit design, and project management for animal habitats, museum exhibits, aquatic biomes, immersive media attractions, and thrilling theme parks worldwide. And he loves it. "I love what I do because bringing people joy is just part of my DNA. Knowing that the attractions and experiences we spend months, sometimes years, working on will be enjoyed by millions of people makes me truly happy and proud of all the time, energy, and effort we pour into the details, striving to make the guest experience as special as possible for everyone."
From the use of traditional pen and paper to digital rendering and illustration to advanced 3D modeling and visualization technology, Dave delivers compelling and beautiful images to clients. He is renowned as one of the world’s leading experts in using SketchUp for 3D design, modeling, and visualization. His proficiency extends to other design programs, including AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
As a key member of PGAV’s Media Production Team, Dave translates PGAV’s creative vision for Show and Media Production into reality across all phases of design and production. His fluency in the vocabulary of show and media production helps clients better understand PGAV’s creative vision and how it translates into technical solutions.
When not at the office, Dave can be found performing as a professional actor, (literally) juggling, escaping from rooms, or serving as captain of the trivia team.
