About me
Wes is the Deputy Director & Chief Operating Officer of the Wisconsin Historical Society and leads the Society’s operations and long-range planning across Wisconsin. Wes excels leading cross-disciplinary teams through complex projects, and for more than a decade has led the public and private effort to develop the new Wisconsin History Center set to open in 2027. Before joining the Wisconsin Historical Society in 2013, Wes was the Co-Executive Director of the Wisconsin Historical Foundation. He has a BA in Political Science from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
