Martin Stigsgaard has 25+ years of experience in architecture, master planning, and design for large-scale, complex museums and residential projects. While at Voorsanger Architects, he was Lead Designer for The National WWII Museum, leading the team and project’s development through all phases over 20 years. Additional notable projects include UAE National Military Museum in Abu Dhabi and The Vietnam War and Archive in Texas. In 2023, studioSTIGSGAARD was named a finalist for the 1 October Memorial in Las Vegas. These projects draw on 20+ years of collaboration with Gallagher & Associates. Martin graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – Schools of Architecture and holds a second Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.
