Lori Healey joined the Obama Foundation in December 2020 as Senior Vice President and Executive Project Officer for the Obama Presidential Center. She oversees the development of the 19.3-acre campus in Jackson Park, which will include a Presidential Museum, Auditorium, Restaurant, retail space, playground, and greenspace. Previously, Healey was President of Clayco’s Chicago Business Unit and CEO of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA), overseeing projects like the Wintrust Arena and Marriott Marquis Chicago. She also served as CEO of Tur Partners LLC and coordinated the 2012 NATO Summit as Executive Director. Healey held senior roles in the City of Chicago under Mayor Richard M. Daley, including Chief of Staff and Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development. Healey holds degrees from Kansas State University and serves on several boards, including the Civic Consulting Alliance and the Chicago Urban League. Lori is an accomplished equestrian having competed nationally.
