About me
Kari Nystrom joined Altieri after receiving her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State in 1988. The firm’s first woman principal, she began working on The National WWII Museum project in 2004. Kari’s exceptional design and project administration expertise drives Altieri’s success on large-scale multi-phase projects with complex needs and significant design challenges. She is known for her comprehensive focus on the details of a project throughout its life. Additional notable work includes master planning and infrastructure projects at American Museum of Natural History and The Clark Art Institute. Kari is the only principal at Altieri with two PE certifications, electrical and fire protection.
