About me
Helmut’s expertise includes functional programming, feasibility planning, and architectural design for collection-based museums, galleries, and archives across Canada. His projects at Diamond Schmitt include the Ingenium Collections and Conservation Centre in Ottawa, the new collection facility for Reynolds-Alberta Museum, and the relocation of the City of Vancouver Archives. He is currently working on renovation and new building for the New Brunswick Museum. His role in the SAM project was Owner consultations leading to development of the functional program, planning options, and implementation of preventive conservation design criteria in architectural design.
