Erik H. Neil joined the Chrysler Museum of Art in 2014, revitalizing its exhibition program and reinforcing the institution's community focus. As Director, he has curated several diverse exhibitions that traveled nationwide, each featuring new scholarship and raising the museum's profile. Neil has led museums for two decades, working with notable artists like James Turrell, Carrie Mae Weems, and Tony Oursler. With degrees from Princeton and Harvard, he has published in Architecture, Photography, and Contemporary Art, and received grants from prestigious institutions. He has served on museum accreditation panels and currently sits on the Art Museum Directors Board of Trustees. Neil's artistic vision and collaborative leadership have established the Chrysler Museum as a leader in the museum world.
