About me
Carolyn Straub has been the Associate Director for Capital Projects for The Frick Collection since 2017 where she has been managing all aspects of their major renovation and enhancement construction project, the first in the museum’s 90-year history. Previously, Carolyn was an Associate Partner at Beyer Blinder Belle where she specialized in institutional and museum planning, renovation, and new construction. Major projects included The Metropolitan Museum of Art Master Plan, Met Breuer, Toledo Museum of Art Master Plan, Red Star Line Museum in Antwerp, Belgium, Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY and the High Line Maintenance & Operations Facility.
